This positive-displacement melt gear pump separates the metering function from the extruder screw. While the extruder focuses on melting, plasticizing and mixing, the gear pump takes charge of pressurization, pressure dampening and accurate melt feeding to the die. It suppresses screw pulsation, feeding fluctuation and upstream pressure drift, delivering steady melt flow with low pulsation — a must-have upgrade for PET strap, PET sheet, PA profile, PA fiber, modified compounding and film extrusion production.
Built with premium hot-work tool steel and hardened gear sets, the metering gear pump handles continuous high operating temperature for PET and PA melt.
