The structure of the extruder melt pump is mainly composed of a pump casing, front and rear side covers, gear shaft, sliding bearings, and shaft seal. Its main advantages are as follows: 1. For standard extrusion melt pumps, the pump casing and gears are made of nitrided steel, and the bearings are made of tool steel, which has good wear resistance, high toughness, and high cost-effectiveness. It is suitable for most low erosion working conditions. For high wear resistant extrusion melt pumps, the pump casing is made of nitrogen steel, and the gears and bearings are made of tool steel, which has high strength and wear resistance and is suitable for abrasive wear conditions. For high corrosion resistant melt pumps, the pump casing is made of stainless steel, and the gears and shaft sleeves are made of tool steel, which has high corrosion resistance and is suitable for high corrosive working conditions.
